October Dock 1053 Tour and Social

By Lisa Thompson

Reuse, recycle, restyle, upcycle, repurpose and vintage. If you didn’t join us for the after-hours at Dock 1053 then you missed seeing these words put into action.  About 240,000 square feet is being turned into a mixture of office, maker-entrepreneurial and small business spaces.  The goal is to preserve the history of the old Winn-Dixie building and still make it a trendy, upscale place to shop and do business.  The first tenant, Lynnwood Brewery, is already in place. Other tenants are in the works for the first part of 2016.

We finished up the night with great beer, great food, great conversation and the name of a child that we can make Christmas a little brighter for, off of the Angel Tree.
