Linnet Vissering
Linnet Vissering joined the Great Triangle Chapter in August 2009 after relocating from Winter Park, FL. She has been a contributing member to the Chapter’s Publicity Committee and the development of our new website. Linnet first learned about IFMA in 1991 when she relocated from Palo Alto, CA to FL where she was a member of the Greater Orlando Chapter of IFMA as well as past Treasurer and past President.
Linnet has a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design and Drafting, with minors in Business Administration and Art from Northern Illinois University. She received her Real Property Administrator (RPA) designation from Building Owners and Managers Institute International (BOMI) and has her provisional NC Real Estate Licenses.
Her extensive experience encompasses commercial architecture, residential design, facilities management, space planning and design. She has work for corporations such as Wyse Technology, SunTrust Bank, Siemens Westinghouse Power Corporation, Universal Studios and Security Consultant Specialists.
What would Linnet’s dream job be? She would like to travel the world as a professional golfer, research genealogist and be a pet sitter. Well for now pet sitting will have to do.
