Angel Bond–Membership and Networking Committees

Angel Bond, a Gastonia native, wife and mother of 2 has been in the Property Management industry for over 20 years.  She is currently employed with JLL managing the Blue Cross/Blue Shield Campus in Durham.

Angel has made an immediate impact for the GTC of IFMA, serving on the membership and networking committees where she works with planning events and updating the IFMA Social Media sites.  She gives a lot of credit of her success to her mentor Nina Harlow, who is the Vice President/Account Lead at JLL for Google, who helped her learn the ropes and transition into the JLL way of doing business.  One of the most important lessons she has learned and would pass on to her FM peers is network, network, and network.  Keep open lines of communications and relationships with clients and associates to make your job easier.  One of Angel’s greatest accomplishments in her professional career was her involvement with the opening of the PNC Plaza in downtown Raleigh.

Angel, when she is not working or caring for her babies, can be seen enjoying a great craft beer from her husband Jay’s brewery, Bond Brother Beer Company in Cary.  She helps with the marketing of the brewery and Bond Brothers Beer Company is currently nominated for the # 1 brewery in the country.  She is an avid runner and has participated in two-60 mile walks for breast cancer through the Susan G. Komen Organization and is in training for her third.  She loves the networking and social aspect that the chapter has to offer and anticipates being the Chair of the Networking Committee later this year.
