Professional Development Chair
Dean Stults, CFM joined IFMA in August 2002 and is currently the Director of Facilities
at Syngenta Biotechnology, Inc. in Research Triangle Park. Syngenta is a world-leading
agribusiness committed to sustainable agriculture through innovative research and
technology. The company is a leader in crop protection, ranks third in the high-value
commercial seeds market and employs over 21,000 people in more than 90 countries.
Since starting at Syngenta in 1990, his responsibilities have included Project Engineering,
Human Resources Management and Facility Management. He is currently managing a major
expansion at that RTP campus. Dean graduated from Purdue University in 1988 with
a BS in Computer and Electrical Engineering and an MS in Industrial Administration.
Dean lives in Cary with his wife, Pam, and daughters Molly and Emma. He enjoys
golf, singing acappella southern gospel music and playing with his girls. Dean is
proud to have earned his CFM last year and honored to lead the Chapter’s efforts
in Professional Development
