Hicks , a ten year member of IFMA, is the Mid-Atlantic Region Head for Facilities Management & Real Estate Portfolio for CenturyLink Telecommunications where he leads a team in developing and implementing strategies to manage a real estate portfolio of over 4 million square feet with Capital and Operating budgets in excess of $34M.   Over the last 19 years, Harold has become experienced and accomplished in developing disaster recovery plans, business continuity plans, leading facilities & engineering teams for large business enterprises such as Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina, Prudential Health Care Systems, PAREXEL International, and Kaiser Permanente.   As a Certified Facilities Management Professional (CFM) and Master of Corporate Real Estate (MCR), Harold has leveraged his strong leadership skills and extensive experience in managing the day to day facilities operations in critical network and data center buildings, large administrative buildings, budget development, design and construction of new space, building operations, and sustainable re-commissioning of existing buildings.
