Purpose for Community Outreach

Our Focus:

The committee will focus on researching, selecting, providing information to members about upcoming community events at least once per quarter.

Upcoming Event:

Join our Chapter for the Annual Community Holiday Donation Drive by gathering new and unwrapped toys for children ages 0-16!

Toys will be accepted at the following events:

1) Membership Appreciation on November 9th at The Angus Barn Pavilion

2) December 13th Luncheon at Embassy Suites

Also if you would like to place a Toys for Tots box in your office for donations, please contact Committee Co-Chair Ed Boyle and a Committee member will contact you to make arrangements for the box.

*Please do not purchase any realistic looking toy weapons as they will not be accepted!*

What is the IFMA Foundation?

The IFMA Foundation was established in 1990 as a separate non-profit entity from the IFMA organization. Financial support does not come from membership dues but from the contributions of the IFMA members, chapters, councils, corporate sponsors and private contributors. The mission of the Foundation is three fold: to support education, research and scholarships for the benefit of the Facility Management Community. It is this education and research that the Foundation believes will improve the Facility Management profession.

We are fortunate in the Greater Triangle Chapter to have two of our members involved in the Foundation. Roger Peterson, ARAMARK Facilities Services serves as the Foundation First Vice Chair and Michael Schley, FM Systems, Inc. serves as Trustee. I invite you to talk with them to learn more about the Foundation or visit
